Receipt capture has never been easier! Float offers multiple ways to stay on top of your receipts and submission policy requirements, without your finance team chasing you down. You can update transactions via any of the following channels:
Adding receipts within the Float app
Transactions Page
Login to the Float web app with your account credentials. Navigate to 'Transactions' in the sidebar on the right > update the transaction you would like to update > upload the receipt file to the 'Receipt' field in the transaction drawer. You can also update other required fields from here.
Receipt Inbox
The receipt inbox is where we will hold all receipts that have been forwarded to Float but could not be auto-matched to a transaction. To match receipts in your receipt inbox navigate to ‘Receipts’ in the right sidebar of the Float app > Click “Match” on the receipt you would like to match > Find the corresponding transaction (you can filter through dates etc) > Click Match.
Card Page
The card page is another way to submit receipts for transactions form within the Float app. This way you are through transactions made on a specific card and attaching the corresponding receipt. To do this, navigate to Cards > {Specific Card > Find and click the transaction that needs a receipt > Upload receipt.
Acceptable file formats include:
- PNG
- JPG
The maximum file size is 40 MB
