Float physical cards are always shipped inactive for security. You will need to activate your card before you can start spending. If you're activating a replacement card, please visit our help centre article: Activating Replacement Physical Float Cards.
On the Float web app
This can be completed by the assigned Spender or an Administrator.

- Navigate to the Cards page or visit activate.floatfinancial.com
- Select the Physical tab
- Find your card and select the image of the card, which will open the Card overview page
- Select "Activate Card" on the top right corner of the screen
- Enter the last four digits of the card number
- Select "Activate Card"
Through the activation portal
This can only be completed by the assigned Spender.

- Visit activate.floatfinancial.com
- Login to your Float account
- Enter the last four digits of the card number
- Select "Activate Card"
In the mobile app
This can only be completed by the assigned Spender.

- Open the Float mobile app
- On the home screen, select the card you want to activate
- Tap "Activate"
- Enter the last four digits of the card number
You're good to go! You can now start spending on your Float card.
