Every business has one Primary Administrator in Float. The Primary Administrator has full control of the account, and because of this, changing the Primary Administrator requires verification to keep your account secure.
How to Reassign the Primary Administrator role:
1. If the current Primary Administrator is still with the company
The current Primary Administrator should email support@floatfinancial.com from the same email address they use to log in to Float requesting to reassign the role. Please include:

- A copy of your government-issued ID for verification
- Your business name
- The name and email address for the new Primary Administrator
Please note: The new user taking on the Primary Administrator role must already be a registered user on Float who has completed KYC verification.
2. If the current Primary Administrator has left the company
Please email support@floatfinancial.com. We will provide you with the name of the Ultimate Beneficial Owner on file, who will need to complete verification and choose who to reassign the role to. The UBO on file will need to provide:

- A copy of their government-issued ID for verification
- The name and email address for the new Primary Administrator
Once we receive the required documents, our team will review and confirm the update. We’ll notify both the outgoing and new Primary Administrator (where possible) once the change is complete.
