If you've moved your office down the street or across the country, it's required that you always keep the most accurate and up-to-date business address connected to your Float account.
This is an easy process that must be requested by an Administrator and actioned by Float's support team.
Requesting an address change
To change your Business's mailing and billing address, send an email to support@floatfinancial.com with the following information:
Subject Line: Business Name - Business Address Change Request

- A digital copy of a valid government-issued ID
- Ex: Drivers Licence, Passport, Certificate of Indian Status
- A document connecting your new location to your business
- Ex: Signed Lease Agreement, Bank Statement
- Written confirmation of the current business address on-file (ie. the old address)
- A digital copy of a valid government-issued ID
Important Requirements for Business Addresses:
- Your business's physical address must be a unique physical location
- Your business address cannot be a PO Box, Law Office, Virtual Address or Co-working location
What do I need to do once my Business Address has been changed?
Changing the Canadian business address also updates the billing address for your CAD Float cards. If your business is US-domiciled and you change your business address, the billing address on your USD Float cards will also be changed.
Update the saved payment information for any subscriptions, recurring payments, or other places where the billing address is saved such as online vendors and mobile wallets.
It may be useful to send a company-wide communication to all card holders informing them of this change and any updates they need to make!
