Every business has one Primary Administrator in Float. The Primary Administrator has full control of the account, and because of this, changing the Primary Administrator requires verification to keep your account secure.
How to Reassign the Primary Administrator role:
If the current Primary Administrator is still with the company
The current Primary Administrator will need to:
In Float, go to Settings > Business Documents > Extra Documents and upload a picture of your valid government-issued ID (Ex: Drivers Licence, Passport, Certificate of Indian Status)
- Once completed, email support@floatfinancial.com from the email address you use to log in to Float with:
- Subject line: Your Business Name - Change Primary Administrator
- State that you are the Primary Administrator and would like to change the Primary Administrator to another user
- State the name and email associated with the new Primary Administrator's Float account
- Confirm that you've uploaded a picture of your ID to the Business Documents section
Please note: The new user taking on the Primary Administrator role must already be a registered user on Float who has completed KYC verification.
If the current Primary Administrator has left the company
An Administrator will need to:
- Email support@floatfinancial.com from the email address they use to log in to Float with:
- Subject line: Your Business Name - Change Primary Administrator
- State that the current Primary Administrator has left the company
- State the name and email address of the new Primary Administrator
