Float's accounting integrations, receipt capture and automated transaction categorization (GL codes, tax codes, vendors etc) make closing your books at month-end so much easier! 'Bookkeeper' is one of the 4 user roles at Float.
Bookkeepers have access to all transactions made to Float, accounting settings, integration settings and statements. Bookkeepers cannot create or hold cards, manage account funding, or manage users, teams and policies.
Can my bookkeeper also be a cardholder?
Bookkeepers cannot be cardholders or spend on Float at this time. Users assigned this role are not required to KYC and do not have access to cards.
If you would like to assign a card to your bookkeeper, there are two ways to go about this:
- You will have to change their role from bookkeeper to administrator. This also allows them to manage users, teams, cards, policies, funding and more. Follow option 2 if you would like to just assign a card and not grant access to the rest of Float's features.
- You can add them as a spender. This means they will have to account to manage. You can create a second account for them with the same email address.
