When you're making online purchases with your Float card, you'll often need to enter a billing address and cardholder name. Here's how to find the correct info and what to know if you're using your company name at checkout.
Billing Address
The billing address is the company address we have on file for your business. This can vary for CAD and USD cards depending on how your business is set up.
To see the billing address linked to your card:
-
- Navigate to Cards
- Select either the "Virtual" or "Physical" tab
- Select your card
- View Address under "Billing Details"
Administrators will be able to request a billing address change, by following the steps in this help centre guide: Update your billing address.
Billing Name or Cardholder Name
Most merchants will ask for a billing or cardholder name when you check out.
By default, this name is the person the card was issued to—like "Ethan Hunt." If you prefer to use your company name instead for accounting or reporting purposes, you may also choose to do so without the merchant declining the transaction.
