Can I still export transactions as a CSV from the Transaction Export Page?
Yes, you are still able to export transactions as a CSV from any of the tabs in the Transaction Export page - Needs Review, Ready to Export, or Exported.
Navigate to Transaction Export > Select the Respective tab > Select the transaction(s)
Click on "Bulk Edit"
-
Select the vertical ellipsis (⋮) on the bottom right
Choose the CSV that you would like to export
Note: When you are exporting transactions to a CSV from the "Ready to Export" page, you will be provided the option to either a) just download for visibility, or b) download and move the transactions to your Export History.
Why is the "Export" button greyed out when I try and export a transaction?
If the "Export" button is greyed out and you're not able to export a transaction, it is because the transaction is not valid for export. You will need to review the Export Requirements and make the necessary changes so the transaction is valid for export.
To resolve this:
Navigate to Transaction Export > Ready for Export > Select the transaction
Go to "Export Requirements" > The reason the transaction is not valid for export will be listed
Make the necessary edits to the transaction
Select "Export"
Can I switch back to the classic Transaction Export experience?
Yes, you can switch back to the classic Transaction Export page*. On the Transaction Export page, select the 3 vertical dots beside the "Transaction Rules" button > Select "Go back to Classic UI".

*Note, the ability to use the classic UI will only be available for a few months.
What time zone are transactions displayed in Float?
Transactions in the Transaction Export page will be displayed in Eastern Time (ET). This includes the Authorization date, Capture date, and all filters are shown in ET.
What time zone is used when exporting transactions to my accounting sync?
Transactions exported to your accounting syncs are posted in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). The reason for this is that most accounting systems that have an integration with Float use UTC.
What time zone are transactions displayed in when exporting as a CSV?
When transactions are exported using the Standard CSV in the Transaction Export, the time zone is UTC.
If you use a custom CSV, you can change the time zone to local time instead of UTC. If you don’t change this, the export will default to UTC.
To change the time zone in a custom CSV, see: CSV Export Templates
