Users can change other users' email addresses according to the following role hierarchy:
- The Primary Administrator can change any user's email address, except their own.
- Administrators can change the email address of any Manager, AP Clerk, Spender or Bookkeeper.
- Managers can change the email address of a Spender who reports to them.
How do I change a user's email address as an Administrator?
Log-in to app.floatfinancial.com
Go to Users > click a user > Edit
You will be prompted to complete a Multi-Factor Authentication challenge using a code sent to your email address as a security measure before editing your profile.
After completing the security challenge, make the desired changes and click "Save".
Your change will be applied immediately.
After their email address has been changed, the user must log-in to Float with the new email address. Their password will remain unchanged.
Restrictions:
- Users cannot change their own email address.
- Only Float Support can update the Primary Administrator's email address. Please contact us via support@floatfinancial.com.
