We're all human, and sometimes we forget things like passwords. Not to worry, this article will guide you through the process of resetting your Float password.
Users using SAML-SSO logins will not have a password and login information cannot be reset through Float.
Are you Logging in to the correct site?
First, Make sure you're attempting to log in from any of the following paths:
floatfinancial.com > Sign-in
through the Float mobile app
Users often encounter difficulty because they are trying to login to similar-sounding sites which are not associated with Float Financial. If you don't receive a password-reset email, this might be why.
How to reset your Float Password
Navigate to the Float login page (app.floatfinancial.com)
Enter the email address you use for your Float login > click Continue
Hit "Forgot Password" > confirm email address
In a few seconds, you will receive an email from support@floatfinancial.com with a password reset link
Once your password is reset, you can log in to your account

How to reset a user's Float Password as an Administrator
Navigate to app.floatfinancial.com and select "Users" from the left sidebar
Search for the user

Select "Reset Password" under the "Actions" column on the right side of the page
Users will then receive an email to reset their passwords directly.
Please note: You will not see the option to "Reset Password" for users who have never created a password before. New users who have not yet created a password can be sent another invitation link to join Float.
