Phone numbers can only be updated from app.floatfinancial.com. Presently the phone number on the user profile cannot be modified from the Float mobile app.
To add or change your own phone number, log-in to app.floatfinancial.com > Settings > Profile > Edit. You will be prompted to complete a Multi-Factor Authentication challenge using a code sent to your email address as a security measure before editing your profile. After completing the security challenge, make the desired changes and click "Save". Your change will be applied immediately.
If your new phone number has a different area code, please be sure to update it accordingly. United Kingdom, Philippines and some other international phone numbers are not supported for SMS notification delivery at this time. We are working with SMS providers to resolve this limitation. In the interim, please use an authenticator app as your MFA method. You can find more details in our SMS Service Restrictions by Country article.
