Rolling out Float to your team? Here's how to make it smooth and efficient.
1. Plan your rollout
When you invite a user to Float, they'll immediately get an email to set their password and log in.
To avoid confusion, we recommend sending a company-wide announcement on the same day.
2. Add your team to Float
You can add employees directly in the app.
For step-by-step instructions, see: How to invite users and assign roles
For larger teams, we can help you bulk-add users. Download and complete our bulk import template, then send it to success@floatfinancial.com.
3. Introduce Float to your team
After inviting your team, send a quick email explaining what Float is and how you expect them to use it.
We’ve created resources you can share directly or add to your expense policy and company wiki:
4. Share interactive product tours
Help your team get familiar with Float’s features using these guided tours and article collections:
5. Customize your expense policy
To make the rollout seamless, we've created expense policy templates you can customize:
6. Use our announcement email template
Not sure what to say? Here's a sample email you can send to your team:
Hi everyone,
We're rolling out Float to make it easier for everyone to request and spend on the company's behalf. This helps save us time and money by enabling everyone to easily request expenses, get them approved, and get access to single-use Visa cards in a matter of minutes.
You should have received a user invite to your email already. Please let me know if you haven't.
As always, please ensure that any spending complies with our existing company expense policy and that you upload receipts to Float after every transaction.
