If you find yourself on this page, it's because we had a problem with your NetSuite connection. Usually, this happens because the NetSuite user who was associated with the configured Access Token was deleted or lost permissions.
Please refer to this guide to learn how to resolve this by setting up a new Access Token for the integration.
Open the Reconnect to NetSuite Form
This will automatically be displayed by going to Settings > Accounting Sync if your NetSuite access token has been revoked.
Ensure a NetSuite User exists with Access to the Float Integration Role
When connecting to NetSuite initially, you created a Role for Float Integration, and you added that Role to a User. For more information, please see this article: NetSuite Integration Overview
In NetSuite, ensure that the User to whom you would like to grant an access token has access to the Float Integration role.
You can verify this by following the steps below:
- Navigating Setup > Users/Roles in NetSuite
- Navigate to the Access tab in the bottom navigation bar
-
Verify the Roles attached to the user
- If the user does not have the Float Integration role, edit the user and add the role
Create a New Access Token
- Go to Setup > Users/Roles > Access Tokens > New
- For Application Name, select the integration you just created (e.g., "Float Integration")
- For User, select your user
- For Role, select the role you just created (e.g., "Float Integration Role")
- The Token Name will be generated automatically
- Click Save and do not navigate away from the page
- Copy the Token Key and Token Secret > paste them into the Float form
Submit the Float Form
If the access token was valid, the page will refresh, and you will see your connection details again.
You can continue using Float now with the confidence that the NetSuite connection has been restored.
