Please note that only Administrators can request bank account connection changes and disconnections.
Changing your Bank Connection
You will need to connect your new bank account to Float to request that your funding source be changed. Please follow the steps below to add a new bank connection:
Adding a new bank connection:
- Login to app.floatfinancial.com
- Navigate to Banking > Bank Connections > Connect Bank
- Follow the prompts to connect your bank via Flinks
Once connected, you should see your preferred funding source connected in Float. At this point, please reach out to support@floatfinancial.com and we can help switch your funding sources.
If your connection fails for any reason, please reach out to support@floatfinancial.com with the following information:

Please provide a brief explanation of why the change in bank connection is being made, This can aid our team in making this process as smooth as possible for you!
Disconnecting a Bank Connection
To disconnect a bank account connection, please reach out to support@floatfinancial.com with the following information:
Subject: Your Business Name - Disconnect Bank Connection
Please provide a brief explanation as to why you wish to disconnect the bank connection and mention the exact bank connection you wish to have disconnected (institution name and last 4 digits of the account number).
