Approval Groups let you pick multiple users to act as one "Approver" for any step in an Approval Policy.
Create an Approval Group
- Click "Settings" in the left sidebar
- Scroll to "Approval Policies"
- Click "Approval Groups" in the top right corner
- Enter a Group Name and Description
- Click the "Members" dropdown
- Search and add users (Managers or Admins only)
- Click "Save"
Tip: To edit an Approval Group, select the group on the left side of the pop-up window. Then follow the same steps mentioned above.
Assign an Approval Group to an Approval Policy
- Click "Settings" in the left sidebar
- Scroll to "Approval Policies"
- Create a new policy (Pro plan only) or click "Edit" on an existing policy
- Scroll down in the modal to view the approval levels configuration section
- Assign your Approval Group for the step you want
- Click "Save"
Important: Changes apply to all future expense approvals that use this policy.
