If you are confused about why a Manager is not automatically syncing to your employee's Float account, there are two likely reasons!
1. Manager Doesn't Have Correct Permissions in Float
If the employee's manager is not auto-syncing please check the permission level of the "manager" in Float. If this manager has "Spender" or "bookkeeper" permissions in Float, this will not sync. The manager must have "Manager" or "administrator" permissions in Float for this to auto-sync.
2. User and/or Manager Cannot Successfully Sync
A User and/or Manager can sometimes not sync successfully due to the difference in the email used in Float and your HRIS system. Please ensure the email address used in Float and your HRIS system are an exact match. If they do not match, they will not sync!
