While Float cards generally have broad global acceptance, there are exceptions. This page lists countries where Float cards can neither be used in nor shipped to.
Our card-issuing and banking partners have restrictions related to these countries for some or all of following reasons:
- Mandatory restriction under Canadian or American sanctions regime, OFAC, UN, EU
- Recommended restrictions/caution High-risk countries; countries with human trafficking risk terrorism financing risk, corruption Index under 35, countries vulnerable to money laundering
- EU High-Risk Third Countries list
- Ukrainian sanctions are linked to Russia’s ongoing violations of Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. The sanctions are related to the Crimea region of Ukraine and parts of Eastern Ukraine.
