Full KYC Process

FINTRAC has issued new regulations for financial entities like Float to collect additional screening information from all users by April 30, 2022. Under these new regulations, Float is required to verify identity and retroactively collect the date of birth and home address of all users. 

You must submit your date of birth and home address to complete the KYC process. Your home address must match what is shown on your identity verification (driver's license, etc). 

To submit your information for KYC, log into your Float account, go to settings, click profile, and submit an image of your driver's license. 

Please note:

You will be required to update your personal information whenever it changes, whether it's due to a move, change of name, etc. 

Any new users to Float will need to go through the KYC Process
