As a part of Float's domain migration from floatcard.com to floatfinancial.com, customers using SAML SSO for user authentication will need to update their identity provider (IdP) configuration.
We recommend making the change as soon as possible, but it must be completed prior to December 15, 2024 in order to ensure uninterrupted access to Float.
This change must be made in the IdP where your SAML integration to Float was previously configured - not within Float. If you're not sure how to accessor configure your IdP, just show this page to an IT person at your company!
What's changing?
The Assertion Consumer Service (ACS) URL used when configuring Float as a Service Provider in your SAML IdP is changing.
FROM: "https://login.floatcard.com..."
TO: "https://login.floatfinancial.com..."
The remainder of the ACS URL and the Entity ID will stay the same.
You can find the full ACS URL in Float at Settings > Security > SAML.
How can I apply this update?
Simply change the ACS URL configured for Float in your SAML IDP to contain floatfinancial instead of floatcard.
We recommend re-creating your existing SAML integration to Float in your IdP and using the new floatfinancial ACS URL in place of the old floatcard one. Once the new one integration is configured and you have confirmed your users can access Float through it, you can remove the old one.
