Authorizing Funds Release is an additional control that ensures approved bills receive proper authorization to move funds. After bills are approved, funds need to be authorized for release. Only authorized personnel (Administrators) can release payments, maintaining control over your company’s expenditures.
Steps to Authorize Funds Release:
- Access your Float account and navigate to the "Bill Pay" section.
- Click on the "Payments" tab to view approved bills that are ready for payment.
- Select one or more bills using the checkboxes
- Click "Authorize" button on the top right to release the funds.
- A confirmation prompt will appear. Confirm to authorize the release of funds.
