If you have a Float card that has been archived or cancelled, you may be wondering if you can reactivate this.
Unfortunately, all Float cards that are archived, terminated, and cancelled cannot be reactivated. We always recommend to double-check before cancelling a card - in other situations, you can also look into pausing a card temporarily so that no future transactions can be made.
Below are some solutions for when you find yourself needing to spend but your card has been cancelled:
Cancelled Virtual Card: If the card that you wish to reactivate is a virtual card, it takes seconds to create a new virtual card to begin spending again. All you will need to do is transfer the payment information for your vendor from the cancelled card to the new card! You can find out how to create a new virtual card HERE!
Cancelled Physical Card: If the card you are trying to reactivate is a physical card, you will, unfortunately, need to order a brand new card due to the inability to reactivate Float Cards. This must be done by an account admin. The instructions to order physical cards can be found HERE!
